After graduating with a degree in Biology from Augustana College in 2013, Dr. Kelly made Columbus, Ohio her new home. Originally from Wisconsin, she loves to cheer on her Badgers and Packers, but after attending The Ohio State University College of Optometry she has developed a soft spot for the Buckeyes as well.
Dr. Kelly earned her Doctor of Optometry Degree in 2017. During school, she enjoyed playing intramural soccer on the college’s team, ‘The Fighting Iris’, and worked as a vision therapist for four years while completing her degree. After graduation, Dr. Kelly elected to further her education with a residency in Ocular Disease through the Columbus and Chillicothe VA Medical Centers.
Dr. Kelly has extensive training in the management of ocular disease, including diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and glaucoma. She is also very passionate about the diagnosis/management of binocular vision disorders, specifically relating to traumatic brain injuries and disorders within the pediatric population.
Outside the office, Dr. Kelly enjoys spending her time with her friends and family, including her husband, Brenden, and her older sister. She is actively involved in her local church community and loves to take exercise classes (yoga, cycling, etc.).
